Thanks, dude!

CB passive income is really good

[–]MeanProblem 0 points1 point  (1 child)

A simple super affiliate system explained here at

https://secondonlineincome.com/super-affiliate-system-review/

This helps to kick start earnings in just a week.

Great books

[–]mohack 32 points33 points  (1 child)

It was because of your original post that I signed up for UserTesting, where I've been making pretty good side money over the past couple of months. For that reason, I purchased the book as a small token of my thanks. Your advice has been the source of my weekly gas/grocery fund!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to hear! Hopefully it keep going and it starts to become rent money!

[–]JohanLiebheart 53 points54 points  (6 children)

sadly almost all this info and or money earnings apply only to US (and a bit lesser degree to Canada/UK) people.

Everyone else either is not accepted or manages to gain but a tiny fraction of that money. So maybe labeling this as US only or mostly US would be helpful to other people.

[–]McEzz 3 points4 points  (2 children)

I’m in Australia and I use a few of these sites to earn extra cash, mainly mTurk, Prolific, UserTesting, and respondent. They definitely take a lot of countries other than the US

[–]PantherAbteilung-07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which one is best? I'm from Australia too?

[–]Muneshadow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya I'm an Aussie too. I'm on Grindabuck - sick of surverys after 1 day haha. I started mturk... do you sell your gift cards successfully? Want to share your best $ making sites for Aussies?

[–]InterestingTurnover 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Erm...Not applicable to third world countries?

[–]JohanLiebheart 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ah, yes! I forgot Switzerland is a third world country dammit! With only the HIGHEST quality of life in the world according to Mercer.

Ah, but I don't blame you for having such perspective, your ignorance is to be expected. Good luck with your guitar, I know you are going to be big and a worldwide famous performer!

Hey u/supersecretspare! I saw your post on r/povertyfinance and got into user testing. I made $50 in a fortnight which got me INTERESTED. I’m in Australia, so to everyone saying this is US only, it’s definitely not. I did some pretty easy googling for other user testing websites and am now testing for about 6 others. I’ve made $100 USD in the past 2 weeks. In addition I found one in Australia that does live testing so I’m lined up for a $60/hr test for tomorrow. Have some silver, bro.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

It makes me really happy that people are actually taking advantage of some of the tips. Even more so that you took what I outlined and improved on it for yourself and are now making even more money. Hopefully you can keep it up and it turns into a nice little side hustle that gets you a few hundred extra every month. Thanks for the silver.

[–]McEzz 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I got accepted for a live test on usertesting, which I did this afternoon. $60 for an hours work! It's the only one i've been offered in a month so I can see they aren't that common, but i'm pretty stoked for those extra $$ coming into the holidays.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are my favorite ones to do. They always pay way more, you actually get to have a conversation with someone that is guided instead of being robotic with lulls of silence, and they usually run a shorter time than quoted.

[–]buzzz001 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Hey, so I tried googling for similar sites as well but most of those didn't work in my country. Do you mind sharing some of the sites you found? Maybe I missed something you didn't and maybe that'll work here. Thanks.

I've only found Validately and Test.io to be working for me. But there haven't been any new tests.

[–]McEzz 1 point2 points  (2 children)

What country are you from? I’m in Australia. You could try: Userfeel, TryMyUI, TestBirds, UserBrain, UserTesting. There is also Askable in Australia.

[–]buzzz001 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm from India. Thanks, I've tried most of these except TestBirds so I'll look into it. Is Askable only in Australia?

[–]McEzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, yes

[–]atomiser2003 6 points7 points  (5 children)

Amazon says "This title is not currently available for purchase"

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Odd. What country are you in?

[–]atomiser2003 -1 points0 points  (3 children)

Nigeria

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 5 points6 points  (2 children)

It seems there are a handful of countries I need to make it available in. Enjoy the free copy for now!

[–]atomiser2003 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Alright, let me know once it's available so that I can show my support you with my tiny contribution

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it!

[–]delta0152 4 points5 points  (3 children)

You are in the UK?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

US. California, to be more specific.

[–]delta0152 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Oh hmm. So those sites are us friendly? I figured they were oversea

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All work in the US.

[–]Skywalker87 8 points9 points  (1 child)

So I’ve been using Swagbucks for a while now. I never knew about being able to run these apps and doing it in a specific order. I’m part of online forums but sometimes it seems like people there are intentionally vague.

Thank you for all the info!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally don't use the passive apps, but that whole section was a user contribution from the comments. I would tag him in the post, but completely forgot his username and I could not find it. Either way, he definitely went into a lot of detail, and I hope it helps you out.

[–]abstracity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! I'm not sure if this is appropriate, but I just wanted to throw in Runbet (/r/runbet) and Stepbet (/r/stepbet) in here for anyone who is reading. It's by Waybetter (I believe there is another game called Dietbet). Essentially, you place a bet into a game and if you complete the game, the winnings will be divided into the number of players that won the game. So, you will always get your initial bet back if you won the game, the earnings will vary. Runbet is for the number of runs and Stepbet is for the number of steps. The exact rules of the game will vary from game to game and I know a few people who use both. I personally only use Runbet and only enter games that I know I will win. For example, I will only enter games that have a min. pace of 18 minutes per mile because I typically walk faster than that. The first month I tried it, I got 5 dollars and some change, the second month was 3 dollars and some change. Harder games typically result in higher payouts, but for me, I rather be paid for something that I'm already doing instead of having to constantly worry about it. These sort of apps are probably better for those who already walk/run x-amount.

[–]Lissbirds 2 points3 points  (6 children)

How many designs do you have on Redbubble and how long did it take to earn $305? Thanks!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 7 points8 points  (5 children)

I have uploaded hundreds of designs, but have settled on the top six sellers and removed the rest. It has been somewhere in the neighborhood of six months or so. Happy Reddit birthday, by the way.

[–]Lissbirds 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Thanks for letting me know. One of these days I'll take the Redbubble plunge.

And thanks!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Why not today?

[–]Lissbirds 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Good point. It's a mixture of not feeling like I have any good ideas and thinking I need a lot of designs to open a store, so I keep waiting to create a bunch of designs but I never get around to it.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Just start with one and add to it. It is a lot easier to add one a week, than create 20 upfront. Also, obviously most of my ideas are bad if only 5% of them sell haha.

[–]Lissbirds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One a week sounds very doable.

Actually, isn't 5 percent sales pretty decent for retail? Thought I read it was around like 6 to 10 percent.

Thanks for the motivation. Always good to see a post with your success!

[–]0RGASMIK 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Wow I just came upon this sub randomly and saw your guide and it might save my holidays. I work a job that has heavy dead periods and I have no way to buy gifts without getting another job over the holidays. On average how much time do you think you spend to make $1000?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends and varies wildly from month to month. I would probably say somewhere around 25 hours.

[–]Norbert1333 2 points3 points  (3 children)

I consistently make £1,000 in a week from Matched Betting combined with the cash back from Topcashback and Quidco. Plenty of guides online. I use oddsmonkey. I’d also recommend 20cogs (sign up here: https://20cogs.co.uk/validate/refer_a_friend/welcome/851263?keyword=referred). The minimum you will make from there is around £150 risk free and all the offers can be done in 1 day! I’ve seen my mates earn as much as £1,500 in a day by getting lucky from the casino offers. Just make sure you cancel any subscriptions before you get charged for a nice easy profit.

[–]lilliane99 0 points1 point  (2 children)

i signed up through your referral link. and started taking offers, but whatever the offer i am trying to take. they all have the same sentence

This offer is currently not available and will be back soon.

have you experienced something like this or i have a problem with my account?

[–]Norbert1333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have not experienced this. Not often anyway. Which country are you from as this may be UK only. Make sure you clear your browser history and cookies as well.

[–]Norbert1333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you can click the give me a new offer button to find the most profitable one.

[–]CatsCradle9 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Firstly, I just want to thank you so so much for this, you've changed my life. I'm making about a grand a month from doing side jobs on top of my 9-5 office job and it makes a huge difference. I'm paying for uni, paying off credit card debts... It's just amazing.

I wrote a post linking back to this one about how I made a bunch of money (and additional discoveries) in Australia, after reading your post - you can read it here if you're interested.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again dude, you don't know how much you've helped me.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My man! I hope you can keep at it and make enough to pay for most (or all) of Uni. I pulled in 15k in 2018. I know you can do better. Here's to hoping you hit 20k this year.

[–]palmtrees007 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Omg you are amazing

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha thanks. Same to you :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]louisdemedicis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's Nice. Thanks for all of this!

[–]youcangofaster 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Most of these are US only...

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Yeah, I am in the US. The post says mostly US...

[–]youcangofaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed that.

[–]RainbowEffingDash 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Nice writeup op

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

[–]ayedmc 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Tried to pay via Amazon, but as I'm in Scotland it wouldn't let me. Can you make it available on other Amazon sites other than .com? So, thanks for offering a free to download version too. Edit: spelling.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weird. I will take a look at that later tonight. Enjoy the free copy for now!

[–]myke113 0 points1 point  (1 child)

OP: Does this mean the Amazon version of the book is being updated as well..?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not with this iteration. I will be updating the book after I compiled a few more sources. Probably a couple months.

[–]grenuda22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome!! Thanks for sharing

[–]Jackanova3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really nice.

[–]jimmythegrip 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I don’t understand why Usertesting wants my work info? Maybe I’m missing something.

Great post either way.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure. I put in dummy info. Same field, different company.

[–]Only1Charlie 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Thanks for sharing all this . I just purchased your book off Amazon. I gotta show support to someone who took the time to put this all together. I appreciate you!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I appreciate you! Thanks a lot for the support.

[–]onlineworkingideas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

man, this is one of the amazing posts with a lot of information, the thing is you have referred some of the genuine and new stuff to make some money. I am new to Reddit, so your reference on Making money with Reddit is very helpful. cool.

[–]DynamiteMom 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Very thankful for this, as a newbie myself. Bought the e-book for continued reading.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Thank you so much for the support! I am confident that you will learn the ropes and make quite a bit if you just keep at it.

[–]DynamiteMom 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It is my pleasure. There is so much information to shift through. My only other question is..with income coming from so many sources, how do you handle yearly taxes?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage all income/expenses on an Excel spreadsheet and claim earnings every year. It will be a pain to gather 'evidence' if I ever get audited, but I do my best to stay on the level.

[–]CafeteroMerengue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up for MTurk and after a few days of review they said that I would not be permitted to work on MTurk is there any reason why this is?

[–]fromVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to register in Usertesting and it indicates that "Thanks for your interest!

Unfortunately, we currently have all the panelists we need at this time" , does anyone know if there are periods of time to enter ?.

[–]ThisIsMyDogAlt 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Late to the party but, about how long did it take you to make over 3k with mturk?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

About 6 months, give or take.

[–]ThisIsMyDogAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. Not bad. Thanks!

[–]R3Dium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shty stuf

[–]ricecooker12 0 points1 point  (2 children)

wow so many affiliate links!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Literally three of them.

[–]ricecooker12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already went through one. thanks for the info!!

[–]skyghoul88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great write up. Some great tips here. I liked that you explained how you use each site. With some work online sites, I've noticed that there's often a strategy you need to follow if you want to maximize your earnings.

[–]warlordusa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great content thanks.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I've got around six hours a week to devote to this. Are there any best items on the list? Or things that would work best for someone with that much time to work on it? Thanks!

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to prioritize, I would say apply for Respondent jobs every day, keep UserTesting and Prolific open to keep an eye open for jobs, and grind mturk while you aren't doing anything else.

[–]Restberg 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do you use your personal email to sign up for all these sites, or an email you created just for this? Just curious if it's important to stay somewhat anonymous or if it doesn't really matter.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For signup, I used my personal email (Important to do this for Respondent, mTurk, and Prolific). If any tests or surveys ask for email, I use a throwaway.

[–]needy_asshole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I use a VPN and have it set to USA, will it work the same way or will my paypal details reveal my country?

[–]feisalawale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. You're right, every day lots of people stumble on your great guide for the first time, just as I've done. Keep on doing it & maximum respect

[–]hifiquality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Venezuela, is any of this pages to make money online that I can work from here? Regards

[–]skipperjack 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Hey u/supersecretspare

What are your 5 industries/categories in Respondent.io?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Pretty sure I set them all as computer or tech related.

[–]skipperjack 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Great... I haven’t been getting invites for a few days now...

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

A lot of research is also dependent on colleges, who are all on Spring break. It'll be slow for the next few weeks.

[–]skipperjack 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Oh! When will school resume?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Probably in like two weeks. It is a different day for different colleges.

[–]skipperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thanks!

[–]LordFuckwadTheThird 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How many Hours a day is this?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like 4 to 6

[–]AlehCemy 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Sorry for reviving this, signed for the respondent, but haven't been getting much surveys.... I would say it's expected depending on the industry you put?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

No worries. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want. Respondent can be a great survey site to work with, but you need to be really patient. I always say that for every 30 or so questionnaires I fill out, I will get invited to one research group.

It is also important to note that the researchers on these projects are only looking for people that meet their demographics exactly. This means that if you don't get 100% match after answering the questions, you will not hear back from them. Even when you do get 100%, it is about a 10 or 20% likelihood that they will get back to you. Worth it in the end though.

[–]AlehCemy 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Ah, yeah, I meant like there is only 5 showing up for me.... About the demographic, I was expecting it.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Go into settings and make sure all categories are set to show up. If that doesn't change it, ya it's probably your demographics.

[–]AlehCemy 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Hmmm, I'm looking here but I'm not finding anything like this. In the settings, it only have stuff like name, email and phone number.

I think it's the industry I put that is kinda screwing me.

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

You can put up to 5 in there. Add something technical that you know about.

[–]AlehCemy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah, I put 5, but all related to Film & TV. Going to change a bit them and see if that makes a difference.

[–]AlehCemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: it improved a lot! But a lot of them involves a webcam. What is the webcam for? Video chat?

[–]shellyxox 0 points1 point  (1 child)

As far as tax purposes -does money earned this way have to be claimed?

[–]SuperSecretSpare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is supposed to be, yes.

[–]luffa1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anybody here from Europe? I have registered myself for mTurk, but the others doesn't seem to work here in Poland :(
