Good luck.
For some reason Im not 100% this will work because your mother is down the hall.
If she hears noises coming from your room, she will come in and will call an ambulance if youre in a bad way.
Im not trying to stop you, im just saying.

I would like more information on people who are successful with this method. I didn’t realize a successful ctb would equal a ban. Is that correct?

This thread explains the details of the "Goodbye" ban and how it works:

What lead up to this is that this past Sunday a member named Sunny Sativa posted a thread (which she later deleted) in which she vented about a few things that occur on the forum, including people who start a "goodbye" thread but then keep posting on it after their stated date of suicide had come and gone or who post multiple goodbye threads.

If I recall correctly, she wondered outloud about the possibility of banning people who do this to keep them honest and subsequently Serge thought about it and wound up implementing this ban on users after they post a goodbye thread.

Like I said, that's how I remember things happening because I also posted on her thread with a complaint about asking people to stop saying "ctb" or "catch the bus" because I thought it was a juvenile way of avoiding the raw reality of suicide and turned it into just another common thing to chit-chat about on an internet discussion forum. The thread turned into a big confrontational mess pretty quickly as various people offered their thoughts about the ban idea and my suggestion about not using "ctb" anymore and Sunny wound up deleting it. So I may have helped add some impetus to this goodbye ban even though I never directly said anything about it, pro or con. If I'm inaccurate in how I've recounted events transpiring I'm certainly open to correction.

That’s just plain wrong! Let ppl post as many goodbye threats as they want, it’s not like just because we plan to do it today it means it will definitely work today for whatever reason it might not work how and when we plan it. And I guess I get the part where they don’t want the acc to be used by other ppl like family member but at the same time what’s stopping these family members from lurking and/or creating an acc of their own. I guess it protects the accounts activity of the person that passed away but still, waiting at least a day or maybe 2, I doubt it would be that bad. Not to mention if the person doesn’t want their acc to be used after they are gone they can always log out beforehand but I understand that at the last moment we might have different things on our mind. Damn this is a complicated issue not even sure how to solve it best.

I like the idea of waiting a few days before banning just in case. One of the main things I get from this site is reading the experiences of others and what works and what doesn’t work. If I had found this site a month before it did I wouldn’t have tried to slit my wrists and now wouldn’t be scared for life. I hope that the mods consider waiting a few days after a goodbye post before banning.

Wanted to add some info to my reply. I saw that if the person wants to come back they appeal the ban and undo it. So I guess it’s all good. Just feels like saying goodbye all to quick, but it’s all good.

Are you honestly so delusional to think people have to believe Everything on the internet without question? It was an honest question, I wasn't disrespectful to you, so chill out ;)
Delusional? I know who she is. Her mother shared screenshots of this whole thread after discovering her daughter took part in this forum. I've read her obituary. She passed and her last communications were with this forum.

I'm a family member of this girl and yes it was successful but I can tell you how it feels it feels horrible for everybody who is Left Behind it feels absolutely Unthinkable for her mother and her brothers and sister and her dad and her stepdad and her aunts and uncles and cousins it is heartbreaking is devastating it is the worst pain you could ever ever imagine. For all of those out there feeling like this is the only way think about all the people you are leaving behind the people who would do anything and everything to make it better for you. so instead of encouraging these people to feel like this is the only way out how about let's encourage them to get help and to know that there are other ways. And the worst part of it it she had to find this post and that people were encouraging her daughter to take her life instead of helping her. Completely undoing everything her family had been doing.

Hi, are you willing to give details on how she died? was it peaceful? This is VERY important info for plenty of folks. Its alright if you're unwilling to answer.

Guess that confirms that sn nano2 works for real. Only thing we don't know now is how it feels.
Here are two recent posts by two users who took SN. It gives insight into what it feels like. Hope this helps.
