Mornings are usually booked. Any time after 5 PM is recommended. 11 AM is also a good time for some days.
Water Flood: If it's water related, such as a severe water leak or drilled water pipe, then find the water shut off point in the nearest closet (Clear the closet and find a panel/board). Take off the access board, and turn until the water is closed. Water damage may cause millions in damages to your home and your neighbour's property, so please be prepared by finding the water shut off point in your home!
Short Circuit/Overloaded Circuits: If it's electrical related, such as an active short circuit, then find the electrical panel and shut off the main breaker (located top or bottom). An active short circuit is a immediate fire hazard that may cause millions in damages. Once the power is off, grab an ABC fire extinguisher, pull the pin, aim and extinguish the fire with a waving motion. The fumes of burnt wire insulation is hazardous! In extreme cases involving power lines, call BC HYDRO.
Break In: If someone broke into your home because a cheap interior door was previously installed, an immediate installation of an exterior steel door with a deadbolt is something I can install for you asap, first thing in the morning.
Gas leak: immediately leave the building, do not use any electronics or switches (this may ignite the gas), and call 911 or your local emergency gas provider.
Although I personally completed more than 200+ jobs, I sometimes subcontract a skilled tradesman in my professional network of tradesmen and work alongside them as an assistant. I thoroughly check insurance, background, qualifications, safety violations, reputation, and licences before inviting them to the job site.

My quotes are fluctuating based on my overhead costs, business schedule, level of difficulty, level of experience, commute time, residential/commercial type, competitors, customized requirements, risk of liability, suppliers, logistical challenges, and how many days are required.
For this reason, once a quote/estimate is given upon request, there will be a 25 minute time limit to accept it (residential).
For commercial jobs, there will be a 1h 30m hour time limit to accept a quote.
