More than 150 teens visited Lacey drug house every day during school hours, police say

LACEY, Wash. — The Thurston County Narcotics Task Force, in a joint operation with the Lacey Police Department and Olympia police detectives, arrested five suspects in connection with an armed drug trafficking operation in Lacey.
Evidence developed during the investigation indicates the group was distributing controlled substances, cannabis, and vape products in Lacey.
During surveillance and investigative operations, task force detectives observed a high volume of juvenile traffic consistent with suspected drug distribution activity.
Detectives documented more than 150 juveniles entering the residence on an average school day.
On Feb. 11, 2026, detectives served a search warrant at a residence in the 4000 block of College Street SE following a months-long investigation and numerous controlled purchases.
Both Komachin Middle School and Timberline High School are in proximity to the home, with Mountain View Elementary School being a bit further out.
During the search, detectives seized controlled substances and evidence of distribution, including cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, psilocybin “candy bars,” approximately 500 cannabis-related items packaged and marketed in a manner consistent with youth targeting, scales, and additional distribution-related items.
The investigation remains active.
Lacey police, the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force, and their partners said they are committed to disrupting drug trafficking organizations that endanger community safety, particularly those involving the distribution of controlled substances to minors with the presence of firearms.
